January, 2000: then-18-year-old me starts working at the DoIT Techstore. I learn about computer hardware, software, troubleshooting, and customer service.
October 4, 2003: After graduating undergrad, I finally get cut loose into the "Real world" to find a "Real job." It doesn't come until December.
August 8, 2005: I return, triumphant, to UW-Madison for Law School and to DoIT for income.
May 9, 2008: With graduation pending, I work my last day at DoIT. Sell my last Mac, pass off my last Dell consult, hand over my last discount student software contract. Goodbye, DoIT. We've learned a lot together. |

They have some pretty decent student discounts on software there, I thought :) Too bad I'm not a UW student. Thats ok. MacMall.com sells Mac's for a pretty decent rate :) Its weird leaving a job you've been with for so long huh? | |
