Apparently the news of my impending move shook Illinois down to its very roots. The pure awesomeness of my future presence affected it so much that it also coughed up my tax return. Clearly, the state knows who's boss.
In other news, my iPod Shufflé decided to run out of batteries this morning. Since I can't take big iPod to the gym and do lifting now that the clip on its case is broken, and because I clearly cannot work out without musical accompaniment, I decided to go for the run I did through most of 2006. Holy nuggets am I out of run-shape. How I could do 30 minutes on the elliptical and 10 on the rower and run home on Wednesday, all after a full lifting circuit, I don't know. Running 2.5 miles this AM felt like dying a little bit. |
