Man, I've been productive lately.
Relatedly, getting rid of stuff you've been hauling around and not using for years is immensely freeing. I only wish it were as easy to get rid of clothing at some small profit as it is to get rid of used CDs. Now all I have to do is make enough money selling off CDs to be able to buy a new CD carrier. One of mine is broken, and both are insufficiently-sized for the new discs I got post-BlackSun.
Speaking of which, djsiberia and I will be spinning at Inferno this Saturday! It will be extremely awesome! Consider yourselves forewarned. |

Since you're selling 'em... | (Link)

Do you have a list of those CDs that I could see?
Also, what size CD carrier do you need?
I don't! There's a lot of them, and I'm too lazy to type them *all* out. Since, however, most of them are the type of CD that you (or anyone on LJ) would want but most used CD stores don't want, I'll take 'em around to the used places to see what I can get, then put the rest on here. Probably on, like, Friday.
I need a big big cd carrier. At least 200-size. We sell 320 disc carriers at work, I was going to buy one of those.

Well...let me know. I still need to buy some Conetik and other CDs on my giant list, so I'm pretty sure you'll have something I want.
As for the CD carrier...the biggest one I have is a 96-disc Case Logic one. Oh well.
About 90% of the CDs I'm getting rid of are from 1999 or earlier. So, like, if you want Delerium's "Karma," you're welcome to it. :)

Oh yeah, there is pre-'99 stuff I want.
Although...the only Delerium CD I really want at the moment is "Stone Tower" (1991)...it's a messed up album. :)
I really wanted to thank you for the good advice a couple mornings ago. Things are looking up, for sure. God I have a lot of stuff. I am about to have far, far, far less stuff. You are right. It really is liberating. Is eBay not a clothing option?
Hey, glad to help! :D
Ebay is an option, but I'm lazy and it doesn't seem worth the $3 profit I'd make to sell some well-worn t-shirts. I have a few suits that I could sell, but, eh. I just want to take stuff somewhere and have someone say "I'll give you $30 for the lot."
i hear you on the clothes thing. plato's closet is weirdly picky about the stuff they will and won't take! and i hear ebay is hiking their listing fees? no bueno. take heart--it IS almost garage sale season!! :D
I completely hear ya on the freeing part of getting rid of things. I seem to haul around and keep things I never use and I haven't figured out why I do this? Separation issues perhaps....
p00....I am missing your set this Satiiday, unfortunately.
OT: Not sure if I had your right email addy but I sent you something the other day about coming over on Thursday. Just making sure you received said email.... :) b0p
I did indeed! Unless stuff comes up, I should totally be able to come. :D
Try selling them to Buffalo Exchange or something similiar. There are a ton of those places in Hipster Park. | |
